The International Wratislavia Cantans Festival is one of the largest festivals held in Poland. Established in 1966 and originally limited to oratorios and cantatas, it was soon extended to encompass symphonic and chamber music concerts, vocal and instrumental recitals, as well as other art forms.

The Festival has a tradition of presenting cultures of different nations. It includes concerts of sacred music of different religions, and exhibitions of visual arts representing all epochs, artistic styles and cultural influences.

Each year in September more than 2 thousand artists from all over the world perform concerts in the magnificent historic interiors of Wrocław festival venues as well as in several other cities of the Lower Silesia region.
