Walerian Borowczyk

Walerian Borowczyk (1923-2006) - graphic artist, director of feature and animated films. He made a name for himself with his posters, lithographs, cartoons and satirical drawings. His most interesting films are the animated film 'Home' (1958) with Jan Lenica; and the feature films 'Goto, Island of Love' (1968), 'Blanche' (1971), 'Lulu' (1980), and 'Immoral Tales' (1975). He created many movies and wrote two books. Received a great number of awards, e.g. Catalonian IFF Sitges (1982) for the movie Dr Jekyll i kobiety.
