Tour de Pologne is the biggest sport event in Poland. The cycling race held every year visits 400 cities and towns. Over two million fans support cyclists along the route of the cycling race.
Tour de Pologne is on the prestigious list of over twenty the most important cycling events in the world, next to such famous races as Tour de France or Giro d’Italia. The race manager is Czesław Lang, an outstanding Polish cyclist, the winner of Tour de Pologne in 1980.
68. Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour will kick off on July 31 and will consist of seven stages. As in the past, cities where the race's stages finish will host competitions for kids - "Nutella Mini Tour de Pologne". After last year's success, the "Amateur Tour de Pologne" will also be held this season on August 5. All cycling enthusiasts will have the opportunity to ride along the same route as the professionals a few hours later.The President Elect Bronisław Komorowski took the 67th Tour de Pologne UCI ProTour under the wing of the President of the Republic of Poland.
