The largest charity walk in the world - Ecco Walkathon

20,000 people will start from the Warsaw Agrykola Park this Saturday, 10 September.

ECCO Walkathon is an event which requires the participants to walk a distance of six or ten kilometers. The organizer - the ECCO company, will donate four zlotys for each kilometer made by every single participant to the account of a charity organization chosen by the walker. This year you can support:

• TVN Foundation "you are not alone",
• SOS Children's Villages - a project to support the Family House of Temporary Stay "Puchatek" in Biłgoraj 
• and the Foundation of Radio Zet, among others.

The participants of the event will walk through the historical grounds between the Ujazdowski Castle and the Piaseczno
Channel, by the Polish Army Museum and the Copernicus Centre of Science.

In previous editions many people from the world of the Polish showbusiness like Marek Kamiński, Monika Olejnik, Maja
Ostaszewska or Rafał Bryndal took part in ECCO Walkathon.

This year's event will be hosted by the duo of Dorota Wellman and Marcin Prokop. Participants will be treated to great music played by Kamil Bednarek, Me Myself and I, Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa and Sidney Polak.

While tickets are already sold, it seems a good idea to join informally - the weather promises to be nice, the tour
interesting, and what cool people!
