The Solidarity of Arts festival opens on 12 August in Gdańsk, which is the city where the Solidarity movement was born.

The event aims at bringing art of highest quality to public spaces in the city. The biggest highlight on this year’s agenda is undoubtedly Marcus+ – a show on three stages hosted by the legendary bass guitarist Marcus Miller. The festival is also home to the opening concert of the I, CULTURE orchestra, the official orchestra of the Polish EU Presidency.
