Every summer, during three July days, Sailor and Marine Song Festival takes place in Boyen fortress in Giżycko.
Until late at night you can listen to sea shanties, songs of sailors. Favourite music of sea and ocean enthusiasts sounds great in Masuria scenery. On the stage, stars of sailor songs perform, and marine workshops take place, seamen tales are being told, concerts for children are played, promotions of maritime books are conducted. Sea Shanties in Giżycko festival is visited by thousands of fans from Poland and abroad.
