Sundance Film Festival is the U.S. largest independent-film festival held annually since 1978. The aim of the Festival from its beginning is to create a review of movies that differ from typical Hollywood productions.
"Arbitrage" is a thriller directed by Nicholas Jarecki with Richard Gere and Susan Sharandon starring. Film is a result of cooperation between United States and Poland (Alvernia Studios – Cracow’s film studio). Premiere of "Arbitrage" took place at the 2012 Sundance Festival. Next screenings will take place January 23 and 28 (precise plan of screenings here).
Beside the above Polish accent, at the Sundance Festival another Polish film will be also screened. Short film titled "Frozen stories" (“Opowieści z chłodni”) was directed by Grzegorz Jaroszczuk in cooperation with the State Higher Film School in Lodz, Poland.
