“Argentinean Lesson” directed by Wojciech Staron is on the programme of the Documentary Fortnight 2012 Festival organized by New York's Musem of Modern Art (MoMA). “Argentinean Lesson” is a continuation of a history presented in previous film by Staron titled “Siberian Lesson” (1998).

“Argentinean Lesson” tells the story of Janek (the son of main characters’ of “Siberian Lesson”). The boy travels with his parents from Siberia to Argentina which appears to him as a totally unknown world. Fortunately, he quickly meets Marcia, a girl who supports him in his integration with completely new cultural environment.

The festival, organised for 11th time, will take place February 16-28. “Argentinean Lesson” will be screened 23 February.
