The exhibition titled "The unrepresented world" (“Swiat nie przedstawiony”) in Warsaw’s Centre for Contemporary Art presents the political transformation of Poland after 1989 through the photographs. This collection of photos was created by the artists of various generations. Famous Polish photographers (including Anna Beata Bohdziewicz, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Wojciech Wieteska) and photographers from abroad (Carl de Keyzer, Allan Sekula, Mark Power, Rineke Dijkstra, Zoe Leonard) captured Poland during the economic, social and cultural crisis, and at the time of significant changes taking place in the country.
The exhibition is accompanied by video documentaries which are showing the transformations in Poland in the last two decades. Moreover, meetings with the authors of photographs are scheduled.
