Marcin Urbaś (born 1976) - athlete, top Polish sprinter. Polish champion in 1998-2001. The greatest achievement in his sporting career so far has been to set the Polish record at 19.98 seconds for the 200 m (Seville, 1998) - only the second white man to do so. In 2002 he won the 60 m indoor sprint. The gallery of his trophies includes a silver for relay 4 x 100 m (Munich, 2002), a gold for 200 m (Vienn, 2002) and a bronze for 200 m (Madrid, 2005). In 2008 Marcin Urbaś was voted number 2 European athlete in the EAA poll. In April 2009 he announced the end of his career.
