Looking for the tan? Polish beaches await you!

Crowds of tan-hungry tourists invade the Polish seaside every summer. The best Baltic destinations in Poland, according to various online rankings, include the following beaches: Dębki, Gdańsk, Dźwirzyno, Hel, Jarosławiec, Mielno, Pobierowo, Mrzeżyno, Ustronie Morskie, Niechorze, Krynica Morska, Władysławowo, Ustka, Jastarnia, Kołobgrzeg, Darłowo, Sopot, Łeba, Międzyzdroje, Świnoujście.

Unlkuckily, due to limited space here, we can only describe a handful of the above-mentioned places. However, the choice is purely random since all of them are worth visiting, and there is no hidden intention of grading them. Still, one has to bear in mind that Poland’s shore is so long that there are sure to be found extraordinary places not listed above.

Dębki can boast a beautiful sandy beach, amazingly clad in neighbouring charmful green meadows. The beach – bordering with Karwieńskie Błota and Białogóra beaches – has many entrances off the Spacerowa street. Another asset of the beach is a nearby sand dune covered by pine trees. The most popular stretch of the beach is near the Piaśnica river mouth.

Gdańsk can offer some five beaches the best one being in Brzeźno. This location has a stunning 130-meter long pier. And by a rough estimate, around 50 thousand holiday makers stroll down the beach every day.

Another gem on the Baltic shore is a picturesque place called Dźwirzyno. Just 12 kilometers away from Kołobrzeg, touching the Resko Przymorskie Lake, lies the resort, of which the very first mention comes form the 13th century. Its broad clear-sand beach turns into a dune towards the mainland which soars up to 16 meters above sea level.

The beach in Hel is probably the most popular Polish seaside destination. An extra value of the place is its unique geographical location – the famous spit. In addition, the spit is inhabited by likeable seals and covered by pine trees.

Last but not least: Ustronie Morskie. Tops off! Ooppsss, pardon me, hats off! This small seaside resort is famous for its fabulous beach and a promande on which tourists can see funny works of Polish cartoonists. Ustronie Morskie is located near Kołobrzeg and 31 kilometers from Koszalin. Accommmodation-wise, there are more than 120 places to stay, including boarding houses, hotels, agrotourist farms, private rooms, and camp sites, which can house over 10, 000 tourists in high season. Apart from having a beautiful beach, the resort is popular for its Morka International Art Workshops at which caricaturists create an exhibition which is left on display in the Promenade of Satire and Good Humor.
