Polish-Ukrainian music band called Dagadana with its latest album “Dlaczego nie” (“Why not”) took eighth place in the TOP 20 Best World Music Albums of 2011 (WorldMusic.co.uk portal)!

Dagadana is created by three musicians: Daga Gregorowicz, Dana Vynnytska and Mikolaj Pospieszalski. “Dlaczego nie” is their latest album, which mixes typical folk sounds with jazz, sung poetry, and classical music.

The list was created after comparing all the albums of world music released in 2011, which were received by WorldMusic.co.uk portal by the end of January 2012. While creating the ranking the portal took into account such aspects as: overall impression, creativity, musicianship, production, coherence, originality, vision, and elusive "something" that makes the record unique.
