Welcome to join us and get a piece of a birthday cake, WE are now a year old! 

! Come and celebrate with us. Copernicus will be open for twelve hours on 5 November. We have prepared lots of attractions for you. You will find out about us from backstage, we shall let you see us behind the scenes.

We shall show how our exhibits and demonstrations arise. You will be able to see the fantastic Science Show run by our mad scientists and designers. We shall show you how the planetarium works in special shows. You will be able to shatter roses frozen in liquid nitrogen for luck, blow a flaming soap bubble, wish us all the best in the stars shining in the birthday Heavens of Copernicus, take part in the birthday competition and look for the seventh hidden Copernicus Science Centre gallery.


You will learn about the Sun of Earth dwellers, you will learn how much 10 kg weighs on Neptune, you will form a birthday snot, you will see robot fights. Well, and there will be a cake.

Normal and annual tickets apply on this day. Tickets for special shows in the planetarium will be sold on the day of our birthday
