From February 3, 2012 in Warsaw’s Zachęta National Gallery of Art a new exposition devoted to Cultural Programme of Polish Presidency 2011 in European Union will be shown.
Polish Presidency’s foreign Cultural Programme has reached numerous viewers around the world. The aim of Warsaw’s exhibition is to collect and therefore present Polish foreign events from Presidency to the Poles, who had no opportunity to see/to participate in the promotion of Polish culture abroad.
In Zachęta Gallery there will be an opportunity to listen to Milosz's poems in ten different languages, to watch videos from "I, CULTURE Orchestra" tournée, to see "Lem Planet" project, to read the documentation of artistic projects such as "I, CULTURE Puzzle", "Fossils & Gardens" and "Exploratory Music from Poland". In the cinema room of the Gallery "Guide to the Poles" will be screened.
In April 2012 at Warsaw’s Zbawiciela square, the project of Julita Wojcik called “Tęcza” (“The Rainbow”) will be launched. This project was decorating Brussels’ square in front of European Parliament during Polish Presidency 2011.
It is estimated that the Polish Presidency Cultural Programme which involved about 400 events in 10 different capitals of the world (including Berlin, London, Moscow, Tokyo and Beijing) has reached approximately 19 million receivers.
