6 medals for Poland in Winter Olympics

This is the best performance of Polish sportsmen in Winter Olympic Games ever since! Poland won 6 medals during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. It gave us the 13th position in the general medal count.

On Saturday Feb 27th Justyna Kowalczyk after an astonishing finish won the 30 km Ladies Cross-Country Skiing race and added the gold medal to bronze and silver that she had taken in previous competitions.

Few days before, Poland was admiring the 32-year old Adam Małysz who took two silver medals in Ski Jumping. In addition, Poland's female speed skating team (Katarzyna Bachleda-Curuś, Luiza Złotkowska, Katarzyna Woźniak and Natalia Czerwonka) claimed bronze after winning with United States in Final B.
