“Code Blue” directed by Urszula Antoniak will be shown in Poland January 13, 2012.

Urszula Antoniak lives and creates in Holland. “Code Blue” is the second film directed by Antoniak (after “Nothing Personal”) . The film is described as very mature and bitter, and the director herself is considered as the great hope of European cinema.

“Code Blue” is a story about death and loneliness. The film tells the story of Marion (Bien de Moor) who is a nurse. She takes care of dying people, sometimes she assists in death or even makes it quicker. In her private life she prefers to be alone. Yet, something happens that makes the heroine in need of another person - she and her new neighbour will become witnesses to a rape. This tragic fact combines two of the witnesses and has a meaningful impact on their subsequent fate.
